Zoom Appointment to Discuss Clearances

The Office of Clinical Studies is offering office hours for students to come in to discuss the status of their clearances for the upcoming semester. For Early Childhood Education Majors, we can help you complete the Lab School and/or Early Learning Center clearances that are required for HDFS222/224.

When meeting with OCS, you will be able to:

Discuss the status of your clearances- CBC, CPR, and TB/PPD.
Register to complete criminal background clearances and/or child protection registry clearance.
Assist with the completion of the Lab School/Early Learning Center Special Clearances
Provide assistance with Out of State Clearances for Early Childhood Education Major

All students taking course(s) with a field placement must have a valid criminal background check (CBC) on file in the Office of Clinical Studies by the first day of the semester. CBC’s are valid for two consecutive semesters.

Please note that it can take up to two weeks for the Office of Clinical Studies to receive the results of your CBC from the state police.
